BIOGRAPHIES

Harriett Maire- Director / Writer

Harriett Maire has reached the end of her degree and is experiencing a small crisis as she debates what to do next. The combination of her love for the creative arts and her base in classical acting training gives her a holistic and informed perspective of the directing process. She is passionate about genuine storytelling. She loves the idea that she can create content that provides audiences experiences and reactions different to what they encounter in their every day lives.

Alongside her Communications Degree, Harriett has recently completed her Trinity Guildhall ATCL Drama Diploma, and is working casually as a freelance cinematographer, recently having worked with Film Construction and Auckland Theatre Company. Harriett is passionate about Shakespeare, and got the opportunity to perform on the Globe Stage in London in 2013. She wishes to somehow combine her passions of theatre and film further in the future.
